Walt Disney World Adds New Entertainment Dining Package

1 August 2018, 14:13 One of our favorite ways to get more out of a day at Walt Disney World Resort is by booking a dinner show package. This allows you to get reserved seats for one of the resort’s theme park shows without having to make a Fastpass + reservation for it, while also supporting a restaurant reservation. It’s a two-for-one deal that can make sense … if it’s the right combination of show and restaurant for you and your family.

Disney World’s latest offering is a Festival of the Lion King dining package at Tiffins, the double winner of our Theme Park Insider Award for the world’s best theme park restaurant. The Festival of the Lion King is also a past winner of the Theme Park Insider Award, so this should be a solid combination for many readers.

And Disney also offers a “three-iron” deal with this package, including an option for a safari with reserved seats for the Tiffins show and meal.

The Lion King Festival meal package is $ 74-99 for adults and $ 29-49 for children ages 3-9, with the highest price for packages that include the safari. Both packages include priority reserved seats at a Lion King Festival screening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Meals are a three-course lunch or dinner at Tiffins and include a choice of starter, main course, and dessert, as well as wine, beer, or a soft drink.

The safari tour is done through the African outback of the park. “Escorted by a special guide, you will traverse rugged terrain to see some of the world’s most exotic animals in their unique habitats,” the park’s press release says.

Reservations open tomorrow (August 2) via + 1-407-939-3463 and can be made for catering hours from August 13 through November 21, 2018.

Other Walt Disney World dinner show packages include a Rivers of Light meal package, also at Tiffins as well as at the Tusker House Restaurant, a Fantastic ! meal package at Hollywood Brown Derby, Hollywood & Vine and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Festival of Fantasy Parade Meal Package at Tony’s Town Square restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.
