See the racing action
Hosted in the Tasman Room, the spacious venue features stunning floor-to-ceiling windows offering fantastic views of all the racing action.
Reservations are only required for the Tasman Room.
The Alex Bar & Eatery and Lyell Creek Lounge will also be open, offering more casual dining options.
âAuckland Cup Day will once again be a fun family afternoon with free entry to Alexandra Park, plus free parking and race books. There are plenty of good reasons to come, soak up the sun and the last afternoon of 2017 before the New Years Eve celebrations start for the night.
Starting at 2 p.m. on New Years Eve, there will be food trucks, ice cream, activities, face painting and more. The Premier race will take place from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by fireworks after dark.
Many people expected
Alexandra Park General Manager Dominique Dowding said the spectacle of some of the best harness races in the country, as well as plenty of off-road attractions will ensure a big crowd and a fun day on Sunday, December 31, 2017.
