Royal Caribbean adds kosher meal plan for Yeshiva week
Royal Caribbean has added a fresh kosher meal package on two of its largest cruise ships for Yeshiva Week in 2020.
Kosher Fresh Meal Packages will be available on January 19, 2020 cruises on Allure of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas. Both cruises are weeklong cruises to the Caribbean.
The Allure of the Seas will depart from Port Everglades and visit St. Maarten, San Juan and Perfect Day on the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas. Harmony of the Seas will depart from Port Canaveral and visit Cozumel, Roatan, Costa Maya and Perfect Day on CocoCay.
The fresh kosher meal plan will cost $ 25 per day for adults, $ 12.50 per day for children 5 to 12, and children four and under will be free. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included when purchasing the package.
Kosher meals will be served buffet style in the Solarium Bistro and the venue will be used exclusively for Kosher meals.
Kosher red and white wine will be available for purchase by the bottle (limited quantities available).
All kosher meals will be under Mashgiach Temidi, all meats are Glatt Kosher and dairy products are Chalav Stam.
Royal Caribbean recommends that guests book at least four weeks prior to departure, as the Fresh Kosher Meal Package is often not available for purchase once on board as space is limited.
Customers who purchase the Kosher Fresh Meal Package will receive a sticker on their SeaPass card to recognize the purchase of the package.
The fresh kosher meal package is currently being tested on board both cruise ships and the cruise line is looking to expand it based on demand in the future.
